Willow Street Dorms
To our new arrival students and the ones who don´t live here we have Street and McAlister Drive, Willow Residences houses 318 students. In each building you can chose two room suites consisting of either two double rooms sharing a bath, two single rooms sharing a bath or one single room and one double room sharing a bath. Each floor has its own social lounge, kitchen and study rooms. Thinking in the security of our students the front doors are locked 24 hours a day and residents just can entrance with their Tulane ID cards.

Our College as a private University and is expensive. Worried to catch the best students we offer merit and need-based scholarships to some admitted students. Special application procedure is followed for those wishing to be considered for two of our merit scholarships: the
Dean's Honor Scholarship and the Community Service Scholarship. All freshmen applicants are considered for other partial merit scholarships, ranging from $14,000 to $24,000 per year.
The Office of Financial Aid, and the Federal Government, together, determines if the student deserved it. In 2009 to freshmen, whose families earn less than $75,000 yearly and who complete the two required financial aid.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Fortunately they coming all around the world . International students need to put special attention to a few and different areas that require special attention in our application process, including test scores, secondary school report, transcript, and finances.
Application Processour Tulane first-year students filled the same application forms. We accept the Common Application in addition to its own application forms.
It’s important that exchange students think in all the request of the American Government need t to study in this country. Like the USA visa. As well to our applications.
*test scores from the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I)
* English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the IELTS Test in lieu of the TOEFL.
*Freshman candidates whose native language is English and/or who can submit sufficient SAT I verbal scores of approximately 550 may request that the TOEFL.
FinancesInternational students must complete the
Certification of Finances Form in addition to their application for admission.
It’s important to send the Essay of your preference and supported, later in an interview with the special committee.

Annual room rates range from $5,506 to 7,088 ($2753 to $3,544 per semester). A complete list

standard double, is included here for estimating purposes. The actual room charge may be

OPTIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE
All full‐time students are required to have health insurance coverage. Full‐time students who
do not have alternative coverage must purchase the university sponsored plan. The estimated
annual premium of $1,880, if applicable, will be billed in two installments ‐ $940 fall and $940
spring. The final premium cost will be available at http://pandora.tcs.tulane.edu/acctrec/
approximately May 1, 2009. Contact Accounts Receivable for rates for December graduates or
for students matriculating in January.
